Message If I did it again, I could do it for around $25 to $28,000.

As for resale value. That's difficult because there aren't enough sales to establish a market for these swaps. I don't think I'm underwater; and if I am, its only by a few thousand. I can say this, whenever anyone sees the actual car; nobody ever says "Why on earth did you do this?" as if to question the value proposition. Rather everyone loves the combo; and that to me, is a good omen should I ever need/want to sell it.

Given a newer Miata V8 swap w/ comparable equipment begins at $25k and tops out around $45K; $50+ for supercharged crate motor/trans combos. Older, but more common swaps, like a cobra replica go for $35-$40; I just saw a Mallet-LS7 Pontiac Solstice go for around $50; most ponycar restomods begin at $35K, and depending upon the car, can sell for upwards of $50K.

Given, this car is probably planned and executed at least as well as them, I'd put a number around $35K or $40,000 to sell. The build photos would sell this car; and I'm pretty sure it would move fast anywhere in the low $30K range. If I didn't get my asking price; I would spend another $2,000 and upgrade the heads and cam to get an extra hundred HP. At 500 crank HP; a car like this would attract a lot of buyers. LS motors upgrade cheaply; $6000 more gets you ZR1 power... plus broken half shafts ;-)

Everything is new. running gear; suspension, subframes, control arms, differential, wheel bearings, exterior trim parts, all the normal interior parts that wear and break, AC incl. compressor, lines, condensor, etc. The only parts not new or rebuilt are engine, trans, and steering rack.
